YOUR CHALLENGES 

You will be responsible for managing all activities related to the production of financial statements. You will ensure the application of internal control standards, accounting rules and the organization's various policies and procedures. You will be supervising a team of two. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements (RE, balance sheet, BNR and cash flow);
• Analyze and explain budget variances on a monthly basis.;
• Prepare various month-end analyses requested by management;
• Responsible for year-end external audit;
• Act as the person responsible for ensuring internal compliance;
• Support managers in financial matters;
• Collaborate with finance management to improve internal controls;
• Manage vehicle fleet;
• Active participation in the management of all matters related to the bank;
• Supervision and management of capital expenditures (CAPEX).

YOUR SPECIFIC MEASURES OF SUCCESS - EXPECTED OUTCOMES

• Accounting months closed within 7 working days;
• Rigor - no errors when financial statements are published outside the department;
• Identify cost-cutting opportunities in the HOA and materialize them with the help of the VP of Finance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation;
• Bilingual French-English, both written and spoken;
• Dynamic individual seeking continuous improvement;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or a role of Assistant Controler; 
• Experienced with an ERP; 
• Opportunity for advancement.
