Brand Marketing Manager 

Reports to : Marketing Director  

Full time – Permanent

Eidos-Montréal Brand Marketing team manages the overall identity of the studio's brands. It is integrated with internal development teams and works alongside them to ensure the global development of all the studio's franchises. Under the supervision of the Marketing Director, the Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for one (or several) of these franchises and their various iterations. 
 

What you will do    

  • Participate to the creation and execution of global launch plans designed to maximize awareness, visibility and ROI for the brand:
    • Define the positioning, audience and key messaging;
    • Help define the communication strategy with the PR manager and the Community Manager including events, communication channels and assets rollout plan;
    • Manage budget requirements to support the plans under the supervision of the Marketing Director;
    • Be responsible for the creation of all the assets defined in the launch plan, including (but not limited to) trailers, screenshots and artworks;
    • Create the visual identity (name, logo, key art) and advertising campaign; 
    • Work with creative agencies and internal services to guarantee the quality and timely delivery of assets;
    • Work with media agencies to develop, strategize and optimize media plans from inception to completion;
  • Prepare the relevant marketing documentation such as Brand plans and Post-Mortems, and communicate to all global stakeholders;
  • Establish constant dialogue with the development and Performance Marketing teams to ensure alignment on the creative brand vision, marketing & business objectives and their implementation in the design of the games;
  • Manage the "Brand Marketing" budget from the franchise(s) under the supervision of the Marketing Director;
  • Champion, evangelize and represent the brand both internally and externally with key business partners;
  • Attend trade & consumer shows worldwide as required;
  • Develop and share a broad understanding of market trends and best practices within the game industry, and comprehensive knowledge of benchmark competitors across all genres and platforms;
  • Devise research programs to inform the development of the product and effectiveness of associated promotional materials;
  • Manage the lifecycle of the products, through ongoing monitoring of live performance, analysis of KPIs and constant optimization;
  • Manage partnerships and Licensing deals with the partners and in relation with the Finance / Outsourcing and Legal departments from the company;
  • Help coordinate efforts with other brand teams located at publishers;
  • Potentially oversse and distribute tasks effectively among Brand Marketing Coordinators and Brand Marketing Artists, taking into account their qualifications and skills;
  • Participate in the recruitment process of the brand marketing team. 

 

What you bring  

  • University degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or equivalent training/experience;
  • 5 years+ marketing experience, preferably in the entertainment industry, with an excellent and proven experience of strategic and brand marketing;
  • Experience with AAA video games in a global/international position;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the video game market.
