LEVEL ARTIST

The team

What you will do
- Work closely with a Level Designer in the artistic creation of a game level;
- Model objects and environments according to the game design;
- Consult, establish and work with graphic references and Concept Artists;
- Maintain the performance and memory budget of the respective environment;
- Develop textures for the levels you will be in charge of in order to make the objects and environments credible according to the game's story and art direction;
- Work in collaboration with the Technical Artists to optimize the objects and environments according to their constraints;
- Work in collaboration with different specialists in his level to achieve the best graphic quality and experience;
- Present his/her work to the team and directors and receive comments, suggestions, modifications;
- Know how to delegate and share tasks with other artists of the same level, and to be able to accompany people with less experience so that they can contribute to the project.
What you bring
- The following levels are open, with corresponding minimum years of experience: Intermediate 3 years and at least 1-2 published titles in video games, AAA quality, as a Level Artist ; Senior 6 years old and at least 2-3 titles published in video games, AAA quality, as a Level Artist;
- Diploma in 3D Art from a recognized school;
- Experience in creating objects or environments with 3D software and the application of 2D art;
- Experience in creating textures and manipulating shaders;
- Very good technical/artistic balance.
Even better if you have
- Experience in artistic creation and vegetation modeling;
- Have a sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Ability to express ideas well and to receive those of others;
- Respect the deliverable and milestone dates of the game;
- Be a strong team player;
- Have an analytical and synthetic mind.
