Practice Manager

Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth operations. This role is essential to providing top-quality care to our patients and fostering a supportive environment for our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership role and team management
- Lead and coach a team by fostering a positive work environment.
- Set clear expectations, provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
- Manage staffing and recruitment activities.
- Ensure timely processing of job changes in Dayforce.
Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality of care.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage the scheduling, inventory, and maintenance of facilities.
- Communicate company policies and manage team activities.
Financial management
- Establish and manage the institution's budget.
- Analyze financial reports and implement cost reduction measures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Customer Relations
- Foster strong client relationships and address areas of concern in a timely manner.
- Improve customer retention and satisfaction through feedback and improvements.
- Coordinate communication between clients and veterinarians.
Compliance and security
- Ensure compliance with regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor security protocols.
- Prepare for regulatory inspections and audits.
Marketing and community outreach
- Implement local marketing initiatives and engage the community.
- Promote the settlement through events and outreach programs.
Strategic Initiatives
- Develop business plans and implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of initiatives.
Skills and Abilities
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in the field of health care is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Customer focus, critical thinking and strong financial skills.
- Proficiency in the institution's IT and management systems.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration desirable.
