Travel Coordinator
Reporting to: Operations Control Manager
Location: Calgary, Palmer Hangar
Schedule: Four days on shift followed by four days off, based on a 12-hour workday, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Starting salary: $50,000

As a Travel Coordinator, you are an integral part of our operations. You understand the importance of customer service and will provide focused service to our crew. You will actively communicate with the Operations Control team to ensure that all crew logistics are arranged in a timely and efficient manner, and in compliance with crew duty regulations and AirSprint standards.
In this role you will:
- Research and compare hotel accommodations to identify the best available option that balances crew satisfaction and operational requirements.
- Book crew hotels following established standards and price guidelines and obtaining approval when expenses exceed fixed limits.
- Research and compare airline flights for crew positioning to identify the best option supporting AirSprint’s operations schedule.
- Book crew airline tickets following established standards and price guidelines and obtaining approval when expenses exceed fixed limits.
- Coordinate seamless ground transportation for crews, ensuring timely and efficient travel to destinations while adhering to established standards and price guidelines.
- Input all crew travel logistics into the flight scheduling software.
- Process any necessary cancellations of crew travel logistics, ensuring timely and accurate updates to travel arrangements.
- Assist with reconciling the company credit card statement for any charges related to crew travel.
- Manage and maintain databases related to travel arrangements, including hotels, transportation, crew loyalty programs, and passport information in the flight scheduling software and travel management tool.
- Actively participate in the AirSprint Travel Committee.
- Research and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Operation Control Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in travel coordination or a related role within the aviation or hospitality industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Bonus points if you have:
- Post-secondary education in Travel, Tourism or Hospitality.
- Previous aviation and/or travel agent experience.
- Proficiency in French.
