Job Overview:
Responsible for using both syndicated research, account data and ad-hoc studies, the ACIM supports the growth of our products to help differentiate Give & Go. The ACIM develops the facts that support Give & Go’s Marketing strategies and objectives and translates these into actions that can further Give & Go’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product and Channel Managers (Frozen & Kits) and other key business stakeholders to translate ideas and insights into innovative solutions that inform the development of/support business strategies.
- Continually monitor and advise on general market trends impacting Give & Go’s business
- Provide foresight into consumer trends to help predict future market developments
- Ensure that brand strategy/activity is based on factual market understanding
- Work with the sales team, develop customized Retailer consumer and category insight presentations to assist in category reviews
- Develop and maintain tools that act as “self-serve” platforms for Marketing and Sales to access market information.
- Update reporting the RISE platform on a weekly basis.
- Adapt reporting and visualizations as needs and market evolve.
- Drive the development and use of market insight throughout the business
- Support coworkers in discovery processes and tools that satisfy business objectives
- Participate in group creativity sessions, interpretation workshops, vendor summits and product development panel groups
The Recipe for Success:
- Completion of a university degree in business and/or marketing
- Minimum 3 years experience in market research or in a field that requires analysis of information
- Strong analytical market research and trend analysis
- Previous experience using Nielsen, Circana, and/or retailer proprietary research (such as 84.51 and Scintilla)
- Experience using data visualization software to build reports and conduct analyses. Microsoft Power BI preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to distil complex information and analysis into clear and actionable recommendations
- Experience working with diverse groups in multiple locations
- Proven written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment skills
- Expert-level experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
