YOUR CHALLENGE
Participate in developing the financial management of the company and its various business units in order to achieve the growth and profitability of our strategic plan.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze income statement ledger line items by developing financial trend reports;
Develop management reports on sales and margins in various forms (by region, product category, representative, customer, etc.) to assist the sales team;
Develop management reports on the main components of our operating expenses (Opex and HOA) (by labor, rent, representation expenses, business unit, region, department, etc.);
Offer financial partnership support to the various business units by finding cost reduction and control solutions;
Benchmark results compared to the market, the budget and previous years;
Involvement in annual budgets and rolling forecasts of the organization’s anticipated results by means of financial KPIs;
Involvement in the development and updating of the organization’s dashboard;
Analysis of balance sheet accounts, explaining variances from budget;
Produce financial analysis of liquidity ratios and assist in explaining variances;
Produce cash flow forecasts, including bank ratios to be respected;
Produce free cash flow analyses and make recommendations for improvements;
Analysis of financing and investment activities (debt, capex, etc.);
Participate in the compilation of objective plans;
Other tasks related to the company’s financial management.
YOUR SPECIFIC MEASURES OF SUCCESS - EXPECTED OUTCOMES

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is an asset;
Ability to explain key financial concepts and make them accessible;
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
Good knowledge of general accounting principles and financial statements;
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced);
Strong financial modeling skills;
Knowledge of an ERP system
Knowledge Power BI, an asset;
Self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities and meet objectives;
Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is essential.
