We are looking for a driven and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Manager – Nutritional & Functional Ingredients Group. This dynamic role at Quadra combines both marketing and procurement, offering a unique opportunity to shape product strategies and drive business growth. Reporting to the Product Market Manager, the Product Manager will bring professional product management expertise to this position to lead the organization while making strategic decisions regarding the product portfolio. This could include sales and marketing strategies, inventory management, supporting the sales team and achieving sales and gross margin goals. We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with B2B experience in the food industry

What would be your main responsibilities as a Product Manager?:

Supplier & Market Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with an international supplier base through regular engagement and documented visits
  • Ensure a reliable and competitive supply of products for targeted markets
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of key suppliers while aligning with corporate objectives, customer requirements, and supplier expectations

Market Development & Growth

  • Drive market development and ensure sustained, profitable growth of the product portfolio
  • Maintain expertise in key products and market trends to support strategic decision-making
  • Represent Quadra at targeted industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen market presence and enhance industry awareness

Sales & Pricing Strategy

  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team, customer service, compliance and other business functions fostering strong, trust-based relationships
  • Develop and manage pricing strategies, maintain price lists, and ensure competitive market positioning
  • Review and negotiate contractual agreements to balance risk management with business objectives

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategic objectives and vision in alignment with the company’s mission
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product introductions and market expansion

Reporting & Communication

  • Utilize Quadra’s CRM & ERC for scheduling, reporting, and data analysis
  • Responsible for product, contacts, descriptions accuracy in Salesforce
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and industry conferences
  • Monitor and analyze monthly product reports to support informed business decisions in collaboration with their Procurement Specialist

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Business related field
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience as a B2B sales professional, preferably in the food industry (manufacturing or distribution)
  • At least 3 years of experience in chemical / ingredients product management or procurement
  • Demonstrated expertise with nutritional and functional ingredients, with an established industry network
  • Strong business acumen and commercial knowledge
  • Proven experience in market analysis and marketing strategy development and execution
  • Strong inventory management skills and supply chain knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering win-win solutions
  • Advanced computer skills with the Office 365 suite, ERP systems, etc.
  • Strong CRM skills (Salesforce experience would be an asset)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and perform under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven capacity to manage and influence others effectively
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-performance culture and accustomed to a fast-paced environment

 

Travel Requirements :

  • Willingness to travel, up to 40% of the time, including overnight and international travel
  • Must hold a valid passport & driver’s license

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $85,900 to $145,000. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

 

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
