Event - Supervisor
Under the responsibility of the Event Manager, the supervisor actively participates in the organization of all events. They organize and supervise activities related to event and meeting services according to established standards. When required, they also perform supervisory tasks for the restaurant.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Motivate, supervise, train and mentor service employees under his / her responsibility;
- Distribute work and plan schedules for servers and team members;
- Perform administrative duties related to payroll
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service and satisfaction during and after the service and handle complaints where applicable;
- Organize the assembly and disassembly of Event space
- Participate in the coordination of events and ensure the smooth running of these events;
- Ensure effective communication within his department and with other departments of the hotel;
- Ensure the optimal use of all facilities and respect established budgets;
- Conduct daily inspection of service areas and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards;
REQUIREMENTS / Required skills, knowledge and abilities
- Diploma ore Degree hotel management or in F & B is an asset but not required
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar function;
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- English language proficiency
- Strong customer service and anticipation skills;
- Recognized leadership and professionalism;
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure;
- Strong skills in communication, teamwork and team management;
- Autonomy and dynamism;
- High availability and flexibility in working hours;
