Job Summary
As a Bilingual Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned region in Quebec. You will collaborate closely with Field Sales Representatives, Specialists, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and Service Managers to generate new business opportunities, execute marketing campaigns, and grow customer accounts. You'll focus on closing sales, ensuring seamless account management, and maintaining accurate data through Salesforce, all while contributing to a safer environment for our customers.
This is a hybrid role that combines remote work with in-office presence. The position may require up to 25% travel for customer visits, with the remaining 75% dedicated to inside sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships, understanding their challenges, business processes, and objectives.
- Drive sales growth by meeting annual revenue and profit targets through effective upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Execute inbound and outbound lead qualification activities to generate interest and build a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Partner with Field Sales and Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of the sales cycle, ensuring quotes are handled efficiently.
- Maintain and update customer account information, leads, and opportunities using Salesforce CRM.
- Utilize the Buyer Alert process to expand profitable business and collaborate with Operations staff to reduce slow-moving inventory and avoid dead stock.
- Write and present proposals, bids, and partnering agreements to position Levitt-Safety as the best full-service solutions provider in the market.
- Occasionally participate in activities beyond sales, including mine rescue competitions, customer events, staff functions, training sessions, and trade shows.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of lead generation, inside sales, field sales, or account management experience in a B2B environment.
- Experience in fire protection, safety, industrial sales, or technical service is a strong asset.
- Preferably experienced in the Fire/Safety/Healthcare industry or technical sales in a B2B product distribution setting.
- Fully bilingual in French and English – must be able to comprehend and communicate technical information from vendors in both languages.
- Experience selling to the Abitibi region is a plus.
- Post-secondary education.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and inventory management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional phone demeanor.
- Passion for sales, relationship-building, and working in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
