Communications Specialist Summer Student 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and schedule engaging content and visuals for our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Monitor social media performance and identify new ways to boost engagement
- Provide writing and editing support for internal and external communications
- Contribute to strategies for audience growth and engagement
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company intranet
- Conduct research to support the implementation of our staff engagement program
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a communications program or related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating content for various social media platforms
- Experience with Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Sprout Social is an asset
- A writing sample may be requested during the interview process
