Position Summary |
As the Project Manager (IT), you will manage and report on our IT projects with the use of project management tools. This role will manage large and small IT projects for both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. You will ensure appropriate and modern project management methodologies are used throughout the project. You are the bridge between internal and external stakeholders and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project. Overall, you will make sure the project plan is sound, report regularly on its progress and monitor it to ensure that its execution stays within the approved budget and schedule.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities |
- Conduct meetings with key stakeholders (AAA/CAA Clubs, Campana, internal teams) to record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish project deliverables
- Create & maintain an information technology project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status, critical path tasks, and resource allocation
- Measure project performance, adjusting resources where required, and seeking project efficiency efforts, where possible.
- Delegate project tasks to the necessary team members to ensure project stays on track and optimizing internal skillsets
- Conduct touchpoint and status meetings with key stakeholders during length of project (strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to support throughout project)
- Ability to identify risks in projects and work on resolution quickly
- Assist, where needed, in creating test plans and testing efforts

Education & Experience |
- Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, or relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience & progressive IT experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Scrum Master Certifications seen as asset
Working Conditions |
- Hybrid remote, with requirement to be in Thorold, ON, office when requested (must have ability to commute or live in Niagara Region)
- Working in an office environment with frequent interruptions
