Our Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) Tow Truck Drivers are the roadside heroes here at CAA Niagara! If you’ve got outstanding customer service skills and a talent for all things mechanical and technical, we want to hear from you!
As true brand ambassadors, our ERS Drivers are there when it matters most—jump-starting batteries, towing vehicles, and being the everyday heroes our customers can rely on.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Must-Haves (BFOR):
- A valid Class G driver’s license.
- Physical readiness to lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks like bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling throughout the day (all truck types require ‘heavy’ physical effort).
- Successful completion of driver training program approved by the Ministry of Transportation (MOT) and maintain towing licenses, which include annual background checks and driver abstract reviews.
- A clean driving record to meet our company insurance requirements.
Experience & Skills:
- Mechanical/Technical Know-How: A solid understanding of vehicle basics and their differences to ensure accurate service delivery.
- Customer Service Expertise: 2+ years of experience delivering exceptional service.
- Bonus Points: Previous towing experience is a strong asset!
RESPONSBILITIES
As a CAA Niagara (ERS) Driver you will be handling the following duties, including by not limited to:
Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide outstanding support to our members and customers while proudly representing CAA Niagara as a brand ambassador.
Respond to Dispatch Calls: Drive a Tow fleet vehicle to assist members and customers, ensuring timely and reliable roadside service.
Perform Roadside Assistance: Handle tasks like battery testing/replacement, tire fixes/replacement, vehicle lockouts, and towing with precision and care.
Stay Active on the Job: Use upper and lower body strength throughout the day for activities like lifting hoods, ratcheting straps, and reaching under vehicles on various terrains.
Follow Safety Standards: Operate fleet vehicles while adhering to all safety regulations, internal policies, and applicable laws.
Vehicle Care and inspection: Perform daily circle checks, inspections, and upkeep to keep your service vehicle safe, clean, and ready for action.
Technology: Use a company-provided tablet for navigation, dispatch communication, and efficient task management.
