THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE

 

OFFICE CLEANER OVERVIEW:

 

We are looking for a dedicated part-time cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all our branch locations. Responsibilities include general cleaning duties, ensuring all areas meet our hygiene standards, and occasionally assisting with additional tasks as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Collaboration and Alignment: Work with the facility service representative to ensure cleaning tasks align with standards and seek assistance as needed.

 

Cleaning Schedule Management: Track, adjust, and follow the cleaning schedule to maintain a clean work environment.

 

Floor and Surface Care: Perform regular cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets in all office areas.

 

Restroom and Kitchen Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, as well as maintain kitchen and lounge areas, including tables, counters, and supplies.

 

Equipment Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any repair or replacement needs found during tasks.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

To be given serious consideration for this position, please ensure that you meet the following criteria:

 

Experience:  At a minimum, a basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaning, A focus on health and safety, with a clear understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and how to keep a safe work environment at all times

 

Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and effective communication with staff and customers encountered during daily duties.

 

Working Conditions: Physically active role requiring bending, twisting, crouching, and lifting up to 30lbs. Constant walking/standing. Must have own vehicle for travel between locations, a valid G license, and a clean driver’s abstract to drive company vehicles when needed.

 

Location: You must have the ability to work at any of our five locations: Thorold, Grimsby, St. Catharines, Welland, and Niagara Falls.
