About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support the Subway Tax team as a Senior Tax Specialist (Global) based in Shelton, CT. The Senior Tax Specialist (Global) has the unique opportunity to leverage their existing US tax experience, and expand their international tax knowledge, by assisting with the US and Foreign tax compliance processes. This well rounded individual will support the company from a US and Foreign tax perspective. Applicants should have a solid tax foundation and an eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing assistance with the timely and accurate preparation and filing of the Consolidated Federal Partnership Income Tax Return.
- Providing assistance with the timely review and approval of foreign direct and indirect tax filings for select foreign entities, as provided by local providers.
- Providing assistance on Worldwide Income Tax Provision.
- Learning the company’s global transfer pricing policies and how they alignment with the company’s business profile and structure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Big 4 experience a plus.
- Experience with foreign income and/or indirect tax returns a plus.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player and work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Ability to analyze and compile supporting documentation for tax returns and tax provision.
- Ability to multitask and flexibility to adapt to changes quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to research technical issues and problem solve.
- Strong excel skills and ability to learn new systems.
- A natural curiosity to continually update their tax technical skillset.
- Continually updating their job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations and researching US legislative changes to keep current.
