Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Claims Advisor at our Surrey, BC office. This is an exciting role for an individual with superior client service and will be a shared service role between two Westland owned companies.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $40,800 to $51,000 based on a 35 hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Once here, you'll: 
 

  • Claims Processing Support: Assist with intake, verification, and entry of new claims into the claims management system.
  • Document Management: Organize, file, and maintain electronic claim documentation; ensure all documents are accurately stored and accessible in electronic claims management system.
  • Customer Communication: Coordinate with policyholders, adjusters, and external vendors to collect necessary information for claims processing.
  • Data Entry & Accuracy: Ensure accurate data entry for claims-related information, verify data integrity, and make updates as necessary.
  • Daily Cheque Management: Provide support to Finance Team on daily claim cheque issuance and ensure distribution of cheques as requested
  • Administrative Support: Assist claims representatives with ad-hoc requests, provide reports as needed, and support overall department organization
  •  Participate in special projects determined by leaders
