Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager at our Richmond, BC office. This is an exciting opportunity to work for our newly acquired Dupuis Langen team.  The Dupuis Langen Group is a leading, long established B.C. Employee Benefits Consulting firm achieving ongoing growth and expansion. Are you looking for growth in your career, developing and mentoring staff? If so, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is focused on expanding their management experience in a rapidly growing organization.

 

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $70,400 to $88,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the health benefits industry as an account manager
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • BONUS! GBA or CEBS designation will be considered an asset

  • Support Group Benefit Consultants in effectively managing, servicing, and retaining an assigned block of group client accounts from initial contract phase to the post-sale service and renewal phase of the client relationship
  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage
  • Cultivate client relationships by providing consistently exceptional client experience from sales to service
  • Have an inexhaustible curiosity to stay at the forefront of the insurance industry
  • Leverage software and applications to manage and convert leads
  • Work closely with our industry partners to deliver the best insurance solutions for our clients
  • Always uphold a client-first focus through the claims process
  • Market surveys on new and existing groups
  • Mentor and train coordinators
