About Us  

• VetStrategy is a 100% Canadian operated group of veterinary clinics with locations throughout Canada. We believe that veterinary clinics are an integral part of the community they serve and as such we put a large focus on community-based activities and initiatives. Every clinic we partner with is unique and serves a very diverse client base.  
• The MILL CREEK ANIMAL HOSPITAL (https://www.millcreekvet.com), is part of the VetStrategy group of clinics located in Edmonton, Alberta. We are open from 9:00 – 6:00, Monday to Friday and 9:00 – 5:30 on Saturday.
• The Mill Creek Animal Hospital opened its doors for the first time in 1998. Our vision was to build an animal hospital that offered its clients preventative care and medicine, routine surgery, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and in-hospital treatment for their pets. Located in the capital city for Alberta, Edmonton is the hub for professional sports & entertainment, summer festivals and the world renowned West Edmonton Mall. You’ll also find walking paths along the beautiful river valley and enjoy 17 hours a day of sunny summer daylight. In the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling and snowshoeing and winter sports galore.

What You Bring   

• The ideal candidate will have 1+ yrs of experience.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.  
• Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.  
• Relationships are important to you. You easily build strong and trusting relationships with clients.
• Effective communication: You understand the importance of client relationship management and education in promoting animal health and can remain composed during challenging situations. 
• Empathy for animals and their owners is a must.  
• You work well in the face of an emergent case.
• You work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Everyone on the team is important and has a voice.
