The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Product Support Manager to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Product Support Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive management and optimization of product, content, and partner marketing, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. In this role you will drive strategic initiatives, strengthen partner relationships, and foster innovation within the Partner Development team to promote long-term growth and operational efficiency. The position reports to the Director, Product Support, and will be located in Toronto, ON

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the EVP and Director with various administrative tasks such as preparing reports and presentations for meetings and business travel.
  • Adhere to established administrative policies and procedures, preparing and disseminating communication materials for the department to ensure clear and consistent internal communication.
  • Work closely with Product Specialists to ensure the accurate processing and management of corporate account information in internal systems, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
  • Support Hotel Connectivity via Channel Managers
  • Support Product Specialists as required, offering guidance on administrative tasks, assisting with special projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day processes within the department.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for training on updates to departmental programs ensuring all staff are well-informed on new features and functionalities.
  • Train and coach team members as needed, fostering skill development and enhancing overall team performance.
  • Provide essential knowledge and guidance regarding changes impacting the web and related processes, ensuring staff are prepared for any adjustments.
  • Participate in testing new systems and implementing changes to existing systems, contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department.
  • Lead the progress and enhancement of the Product Contracting System, ensuring continuous improvements meet business requirements
  • Develop, review, and update reports regularly to ensure data accuracy and relevance, supporting decision-making processes.
  • Manage various excel charts to support different business areas.
  • Conduct continuous audits of destination data to maintain accuracy and compliance with business standards.
  • Support contracting team with hotel changes and adhere to TICO regulations
  • Ensure a smooth workflow and provide troubleshooting assistance when issues arise, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 3-5 years of work-related experience, with 1-3 years of supervisor experience.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Must possess excellent administration skills and PC Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Ability to work with minimal direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Must be very organized, with a strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Have worked in an agile, fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet project deliverables with effectiveness and on time
  • Adaptable to change with a proactive and self starter mindset working with a sense of urgency
