Reports to: Resident Manager / Sr. Resident Manager

Position Description: The Assistant Resident Manager team is required to live on-site and work full-time, this includes every other weekend and on-call duties. The primary focus of this role is to maintain a high standard of care for the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, exceptional customer service, general cleaning, and minor maintenance repairs.

The Opportunity

Realstar is a leading residential property management company with over 160 properties across Canada. Assistant Property Managers play an important role in the successful operation of a residential rental building under our management.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of property (hallways, stairs, elevators)
• Minor maintenance repair
• Preparing apartments for new residents
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents
• Assisting with leasing suites
• Responding to on-call requests

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Previous or similar property management experience (an asset)
• Display a professional/presentable appearance
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairs
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, items could include garbage bins, furniture, appliances or while performing snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time
• Good written and verbal communication skills
