Project Engineering Specialist

Support Company sales and profit goals related to a specific product category or product. Provide technical support to internal and external customers in order to facilitate the specification and sale of the business unit products, including guidance on application, performance, troubleshooting, competitiveness, sales and pricing of product and services.

0-3 Months: Get Up to Speed

  • Dive into learning about Price Industries’ products, market strategy, and engineering workflows.
  • Train hands-on in our state-of-the-art laboratory at the Price Industries Headquarters in Winnipeg.
  • Kickstart your education in HVAC engineering, air distribution, and other key mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide support to the Project Engineering Team with customer engineering requests and technical product assistance.
  • Get acquainted with our software to enhance product sales, specifications, and performance evaluations.

3-6 Months: Deepen Your Expertise

  • Expand your knowledge on Price Industries Terminal and Fan Coil products.
  • Understand internal projects, product launches, and sales strategies led by the Project Engineering Team.
  • Start assisting external customers with application support, bids, submissions, and installation guidance.

6 Months+: Take on New Challenges

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, and Account Managers to drive sales goals and strategies.
  • Play a key role in sales training events both in Winnipeg and across North America.
  • Support new product launches through sales, performance analysis, and research initiatives.

Future Growth Opportunities

  • Take charge of on-site project management by working closely with contractors, engineers, and sales representatives.
  • Lead industry education efforts with webinars, presentations, and product shows, both virtually and in person across North America.
  • Engage with engineering societies and contribute to industry standards, including ASHRAE, AHRI, and EGM.

What We're Looking For

  • A college diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, process-driven mindset and a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively, meeting time-sensitive goals.
  • A problem-solving attitude with a knack for working through issues and conflicts.
