Calypso Maintenance Operations - Water Quality Attendant

Candidates must have their own transportation. There is no public transit to the park.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Take water test readings on every water feature in the park and log the results into our data platform. Adjust water treatment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with company dress code. 
• Comply with company and departmental standards on grooming. 
• Use water testing kits to obtain water samples from all attractions and sources in the park.
• Interpret content readings against regulation parameters and log the readings into the data system for tracking purposes
• Adjust the water treatment chemicals
• Identify patterns if any and make recommendations to the department manager
• Work in a team setting to establish and maintain water safety levels

  Management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g. Emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs, staff levels, or technical development) arise. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
• Current Bio or Environmental studies student
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Organized and detail oriented. 
• Good communication skills
• Seeking 18 years old with class-G license to drive golf carts

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:   

• This position is outdoors in all summer weather
• This position requires frequent work in heat and sun.
• This position requires occasional work in or around water, water treatment chemicals, fumes/odors.
