The Opportunity:

Postmedia’s Verticals team is launching a new, innovative storytelling platform and two new digital brands.We are seeking a talented and motivated Producer to join our dynamic team, who will be responsible for producing and publishing content for print and digital, coordinating freelancers, supporting social media and website presentation and reporting on analytics and other KPIs.

What you'll do:   

• Research, write and publish high-quality articles.
  
• Edit and fact check articles from contributors for clarity, style, and accuracy.
  
• Assign and coordinate with freelancers.
  
• Create and schedule posts for various social media platforms, including Meta and X.
  
• Publish articles through CMS.
  
• Set-up and configuration of home page and category pages.
  
• Track site performance metrics through Google Analytics or similar tools.
  
• Generate regular reports to inform sales, content strategy and optimization efforts.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  
• 2+ years experience in content creation, social media management, or similar roles.
  
• Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
  
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
