The Opportunity:
As a Tow Motor Operator you would be working in our Distribution Department to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiencies are achieved, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Maintain quality control for the flyer receiving process and maintain accurate records for flyer deliveries.
- Ship and receive inserts and completed packages.
- Cross-reference deliveries, ensure products received are staged properly.
- Communicate flyer-related delivery problems such as, shortages/overages of inserts received, damaged deliveries, delivery refusals, outstanding flyers deliveries, etc.
- Material handling of flyers between flyer storage and the insertion equipment.
- Create and maintain all transportation-related documents for each outbound and inbound shipment pertaining to production (Bill of lading).
- Prepare shipments as per customer specifications (packing requirements, breakdown, etc.).
- Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the company's Health and Safety program.
Qualifications:
- Licensed on counterbalance and low-lift equipment (walkie) is mandatory
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with sound organizational skills and the ability to plan
- Experience with trucking and loading requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with good time management skills
- A strong focus on safety and quality control processes
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- The successful candidate must be able to work shifts in a 24 hour / 7 day a week environment.
