The Opportunity:

The Brockville Recorder and Times is looking for a Multimedia Journalist who can deliver well-crafted news and feature stories and take photographs and occasionally, video. The Recorder and Times publishes daily online and four days a week in print. The publication enjoys a leadership role in the community as the newspaper of record in Brockville and the surrounding region.

What you’ll do:

⦁    Write and edit stories for print and our website.
⦁    Shoot still photos, and occasionally shoot and videos.
⦁    Generate story/feature ideas.
⦁    Engage in energetic use of social media.

Who you are:

⦁    Candidates should have a journalism degree or diploma.
⦁    A reliable car and a valid driver's license are needed. There may be weekend and evening shifts.
⦁    Ability to edit videos using is an asset.
⦁    Good knowledge of social media.
⦁    A working knowledge of WordPress is also an asset.
