Information Security Analyst

Factors Group are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team in this hybrid role in Coquitlam! You’re good at:

• Tools and processes such as Tenable, auto patch management, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco security, Proofpoint, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, RunZero, Certificate Management, Microsoft Defender or similar to any of these
• You are good at seeing a gap, taking underutilised, existing tools and implementing them to their full extent to drive value.
• Making recommendations and suggestions on new tools, and following through with the implementation
• Taking ownership of incidents, reading through logs and security alerts, prioritising alerts based on our specific need
• LAN/WAN networking, IP addressing, routing, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).

You have:

• 5+ years experience in IT operations, like system administration or networking
• 3+ years experience in Security Operations
• Proven experience in handling and resolving security incidents.
• Deep understanding of Standard Information Security Baseline Frameworks, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery protocols and best practices.
