We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to ensure a continuous supply of materials through effective supplier selection and management. This role involves overseeing the daily operations and ongoing training of the Procurement team, while supporting the Procurement Director in achieving departmental goals. The candidate will also manage the timely launch, modification, and retirement of purchased materials, aligning with our seven Core Values, including Sustainability (people, planet, and profit). This position is crucial for planning and implementing actions in line with these values.

You’re good at:

  • Leading teams and driving performance to achieve organizational goals.
  • Building strong supplier relationships and managing negotiations effectively.
  • Using data-driven insights to optimize processes and solve complex problems.
  • Ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and industry standards in procurement practices.
  • Collaborating across departments to foster a community of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

 

What you have:

  • 5+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience and 3+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Management, or related fields (preferred).
  • Completed courses or certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, SCMA).
  • Proficiency in SYSPRO ERP system and strong working knowledge of MRP, BOM structures, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and data analytics for procurement and inventory management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
