We’re searching for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator who is passionate about providing the best patient experience possible. As a primary contact for our patients, your role as treatment coordinator plays a pivotal role in understanding how to manage the schedule, and to guide the treatment planning process smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a background in clinical dentistry or significant experience in dental office administration, particularly in the treatment coordination capacity.
This is a full-time permanent position - with guaranteed hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and 100% Employer paid Health Benefits.
Ideally, the position will start as soon as possible, or prior to November 15th.

Monday - Friday
- 8:00AM am to 4:00PM pm

Responsibilities:
You will ensure the schedule is well-planned and that the clinic is set up for success. A snap-shot of the day-to-day is as follows:
- Optimize scheduled appointments to achieve weekly and monthly revenue budgets through treatment plan monitoring, patient information flow and continuous patient contact;
- Confirm upcoming appointments and ensure all pre-treatment processes are in place (pre-determinations, deposits, expectations are clearly understood, etc.)
- Analyze the schedule to make certain it is booked in a way that improves/maximizes efficiency and helps the clinical team to run through the day smoothly, with minimal disruptions to both the providers and the patients;
- Liaise appropriately with insurance providers, facilitating communication with the patient and the clinical team;
- Meet with patients one-on-one and present and review treatment plans (answering questions, discussing treatment options presented by the Dentist and providing an outline of the treatment process including time commitment, cost and other considerations)
- Preparing and sending pre-determinations;
- Following up on outstanding treatment plans;
- Maintain accurate accounting, patient records, and prepare/submit timely reports related to the dental clinic operations;
- Maintain patient relations through ongoing dialogue with patients before, during and after treatment;
- Support other team members in the dental clinic by aligning individual contributions with those of the team and group;
- Share information with team members and patients in a timely and efficient manner;
- Additional related duties, as required.
Requirements:
- Must Have: AbelDent experience
- Ideal to Have: Novari Health systems for Operatory Room (OR) booking experience or equivilent
- A self-driven individual who is willing to help with a variety of administrative tasks
- Comfortable using dental clinic software and digital tools
- A solid understanding of dental procedures and the ability to communicate the treatment process effectively with patients
- Experience analyzing radiographs and preparing pre-determinations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, organized and reliable
- Understanding of health & safety regulations relating to the dental office environment
- Asset: Additional Dental Office Software Experience (Dentrix, Tracker, etc.)
- Asset: Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist clinical experience
