Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Business Analyst to join our expanding Central Operations & Project Management team, to support the continued growth and planning of our over 300 acquired Pharmacy locations across Canada! We have support offices located in ON, MB and SK, however this role can be located anywhere in Canada.

Location:

This role is remote, and may require travel into the office for meetings as required by department leaders.

Job Description:

The Business Analyst is a dynamic role that ensures alignment between financial planning, strategic initiatives, and project execution. This individual will play a critical role in creating and tracking KPI metrics, preparing executive and board-level updates, and supporting the overall success of the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze performance, communicate effectively, and create visually compelling presentations. A high degree of business acumen and proficiency in PowerPoint is required for success in this role.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

KPI Development & Performance Analysis

  • Collaborate with the FP&A team and PMO leadership to define, develop, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze business performance to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of strategic initiatives, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Executive & Board Reporting

  • Prepare board and executive-level updates, ensuring clarity and precision in all deliverables.
  • Create visually compelling presentations in PowerPoint that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Compile data and insights to support strategy reviews and project portfolio updates.

Project & Initiative Support

  • Work closely with the PMO to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and financial performance.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on the progress of strategic initiatives and enterprise projects.
  • Monitor and maintain the intake process for projects, ensuring proper governance and prioritization.

Process Improvement & Data Analysis

  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Leverage data analysis to support business case development and prioritize initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between FP&A and the PMO, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather feedback, document requirements, and facilitate alignment on initiatives.
  • Support leadership in facilitating communication and alignment across teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in a project-driven, health care (pharmacy) environment.
  • Strong experience with KPI Development, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, with a proven ability to create executive-level presentations.
  • Solid understanding of project management frameworks and tools (e.g. Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively across diverse teams.
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • Certification as a Business Analyst – BA designation considered as asset.
