Manager, Warehouse
The Manager, Warehouse is responsible for inventory management, warehouse performance, cost optimization, service, and quality in line with LG global standards. This role will also collaborate with 3PL to drive continuous improvement.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop processes and productivity standards to ensure 3PL labor is deployed efficiently (i.e. Slotting for efficient picking)
- Review consumables and MHE expense to ensure bidding process followed and efficient consumption
- Communicate LG standards to 3PL and ensure SOP clearly supports LG expectations
- Monitor KPIs to ensure quality standards are maintained and on-time performance is well balanced with cost savings opportunities
- Manage customer escalations to resolution and address repeated performance failures with permanent solutions
- Collaborate with SCM to manage key priorities through to final delivery execution
- Support efficient and effective cycle counting and physical inventory to ensure inventory integrity
- Manage inventory discrepancies through to resolution
- Support GWMS issues, engaging IT for rapid resolution
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- University Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel proficient)
- Supply Chain and/or Logistics certifications also an asset
