The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for monitoring tasks involved in marketing, sales, production, supporting the Business Manager in decision making and developing strategies to promote a product while ensuring the efficiency of the implemented product development and marketing strategies.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Pricing and Promotional Strategy:

  • Prepare bi-weekly and monthly sales reports through detailed analysis of company targets and market activity
  • Work closely with the Business Manager to develop pricing models and promotional plans for the Sales team to present with the goal of winning incremental growth of market share
  • Main contact for Sales Team for promotional pricing to target profitable mix
  • Analyze sales/market trends to identify misses and to strategically target sales goal in effort to close gaps
  • Daily and Monthly List price system price registration

 

Product Development:

  • Monitoring production/shipping schedules/logistics
  • Preparing and executing new product launch processes
  • Analyze competitor trends in the market
  • Analyze market share and identify competitive issues within the current market
  • Correspond with the factory and HQ division on a regular basis to support product and marketing communications for the local team
  • Maintaining system data to reflect current and accurate product information
  • Support Marketing team to produce marketing material
  • Supply Chain Management Support: Analyze PSI by model

 

Performance Management:

  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
  • Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Determine and establish business procedures
  • May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
  • Supervise and train new staff in procedures and the use of current system

 

Project Management:

  • Simulate Project Sales Demand forecast with Salesforce pipeline
  • Financial Handing support on Turnkey Project
  • Support internal Project Procedure (A/R, A/P, Order Process etc.)
  • Outsourcing Model Creation and guide Sales Team
  • Updating weekly POS with Project Sales number in Salesforce
  • Solving problem during Project sales plan

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of sales/marketing or product management experience to drive, manage and build projects
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)
  • Proficient in Industry standard ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Strong customer communication skills
  • High level of efficiency, multitasking and organizational abilities as well as being detail oriented
  • Bilingualism: Proficiency in English/Korean is strongly preferred
  • Strong Analytical capabilities
