Director, Revenue Operations

The Director Revenue, Operations, is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of revenue initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term financial objectives. This role requires a strong analytical skill set to interpret data, identify trends and develop actionable strategies that support business goals. The director will not only design data driven revenue strategies but also lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. Working closely with asset management and leasing teams, this position ensures monthly revenue budgets are achieved and consistently contributes to the company’s growth trajectory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to Day
- Develop and implement strategic revenue plans that support and align with the company’s overarching business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development of in-house platforms and systems to track revenue, building performance and market trends.
- Create and execute competitive pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
- Create, track and report on internal sales forecasts and budgets, using insights to identify strategies for maximizing revenue.
- Present data-driven forecasts and strategies to senior leadership, adjusting approaches as needed.
- Communicate and implement strategic direction to Regional Leasing Managers to ensure actions are effectively cascaded and executed at the site level.
- Co-host bi-weekly revenue management meetings to present periodic results, goals and budgets to asset management and VP level leadership. Provide recommendations for 30-60-90 day actions to ensure initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented at the site level.

- Data analysis: The ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw insights to inform pricing strategies and revenue management decisions.
- Strategic thinking: The ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems to maximize revenue.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are important to effectively present data and insights to stakeholders, negotiate with partners, and manage team members.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively, as well as lead cross-functional teams to achieve revenue management goals.
- Market research: Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and market analysis is important to make informed decisions about pricing and revenue management strategies.
- Financial acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to develop financial models to inform revenue management decisions.
- Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data and that pricing and revenue management strategies are implemented correctly
Leadership and Management
- This role involves managerial responsibilities, where you will oversee the training and development of the revenue team. Your duties will include setting goals and regularly monitoring the portfolios and objectives of the marketing team.
- This position entails the creation of action plans to rectify areas of concern. The focus remains on aligning plans with the overarching goals and objectives.
- Effectively convey strategies and objectives to diverse stakeholders
- Write and deliver performance reviews.
- Guiding and inspiring the marketing team to achieve their best performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance,
- 5+ years experience in finance, sales, marketing, or operations
- Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills.
- Strategic, innovative, thinker with a strong business acumen.
- A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Adept multi-tasker with the ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving is required.
- Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
- Ability to work with diverse people and interests while being culturally aware.
- Have a thorough understanding of competing properties and current market conditions.
