Storeroom Coordinator
Job Description
The Storeroom Coordinator will manage the Maintenance storeroom to ensure all parts are present and accounted for. They will also be responsible for receiving all non-production related shipments into the building, receiving them into the MRP/ERP system and notifying the required individuals of their arrival and location. The Storeroom Coordinator will also be the backup for the MRO Buyer.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

2-3 yrs on job experience in administrative or supply field; proficient with Microsoft Suite
Preferred Qualifications

Some undergraduate classes or equivalent customer service training

Prior experience in a storeroom atmosphere; Prior MRP/ERP utilization or training

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for overall storeroom operation including ordering parts, receiving and inspecting all incoming items for Maintenance department, and ensuring proper placement of storeroom items in storage cell where items are maintained for use.

Conducts cycle counts, and bulk inventories of equipment/storeroom items as required.

Inputs and maintains computer inventory system and master file data system to ensure accurate storeroom inventory. Also generates computer reports weekly on all receipts and disbursements.

Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager and Planner in the initial set-up of new storeroom parts, the modification and/or substitution of existing parts, and the deletion of storeroom parts, overstock, and surplus parts.

Communicate discrepancies with vendors/suppliers/manufacturers and corrects them in a timely manner. If necessary, properly packs and processes items for outgoing shipment for common carrier; prepares miscellaneous shipping orders, airfreight bills, and/or bills of lading.

Maintains good housekeeping and organization in the storeroom and related areas.

Comply with all safety rules, company practices/procedures, and participate in safe work practices, as outlined by the company and government regulations in order to facilitate a safe and compliant working environment

Other duties as needed and assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Storeroom environment 90% of time. Occasional exposure to plant floor.
