We are seeking a collaborative and highly motivated Marketing Associate to join our National Marketing team. The Marketing Associate is a team player looking to grow and develop their expertise on an innovative team. You are familiar with marketing best practice, thrive in a dynamic environment, are a self-starter and can follow processes for timely delivery of tasks. From supporting campaign development to analyzing data to inform areas of opportunity, you’ll be developed to lead and become an expert in your own categories and projects amongst a collaborative cross function team

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Support the campaign, content and category teams.
  • Participate in the marketing communications process (includes quarterly planning, creating briefs, briefing internal and external teams, executing & managing project delivery, measuring results and optimizing as needed).
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to deliver on tasks.
  • Use critical thinking to make informed decisions, leveraging tools and resources available.
  • Build meaningful relationships with external and internal partners (regional teams, retail, operations, web team, content planning, customer communications, agency teams), gathering an understanding of requirements to effectively execute plans and build on opportunities.
  • Leverage data to draw insights and conclusions that drive strategic business decisions into action.
  • Provide consumer, category, and competitive insights and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Post-secondary education (University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field is preferred).
  • Natural team player who thrives in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
