What You’ll Do:
- Maintain a positive teamwork environment and adhere to safe work practices at all times.
- Mentor apprentices, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
- Oversee the ordering of parts and manage inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate stock.
- Organize and manage the shipping, receiving, and returns of parts and materials.
- Create invoices and estimates, maintain accurate records, and handle payment transactions.
- Utilize online tools to source and identify parts, ensuring quality and availability.
- Answer phone calls and take customer orders in a professional and efficient manner.
- Lift and handle objects up to 50lbs as required.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to meet their needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to ensure a productive environment.
- Perform any other related duties as necessary to support the team and business operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- Red Seal Journeyman Certification, where applicable.
- Previous experience in parts management is an asset.
- Forklift training and experience is an asset.
- Proficient in the use of all in-house equipment, including computers, Excel, Word, calculators, fax machines, and materials handling equipment.
- Ability to contribute to the overall operation and principles of the business.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and an acceptable Driver’s Abstract in accordance with TDF Group’s Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
