Location:      Calgary, Palmer Hangar

Schedule:     Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week

Salary:         $56,000 – 60,000 per annum

The big picture:

Have your career take off with us! As an Aircraft Technical Records Administrator, you are responsible for managing and maintaining the technical records for our fleet of aircraft. As part of Maintenance team while performing the functional role of an Aircraft Technical Records Administrator, you would be enthusiastically demonstrating AirSprint’s corporate value of safety in everything you do. With a passion for aviation, strong attention to details, excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills, you will ensure that computerized tracking programs, all relevant documentation, and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Update and maintain the aircraft maintenance tracking software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  • Update, organize and file technical records, including logbooks, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance records, and component tracking, in accordance with the established filing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, manufacturer requirements, and internal policies regarding the maintenance and storage of aircraft records.
  • Retrieve and review technical records to support ongoing maintenance activities, audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to gather necessary information for updating and maintaining aircraft records.
  • Conduct regular audits of technical records to identify and resolve discrepancies, missing documents, or inaccuracies.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory audits and inspections by providing accurate and organized documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive aircraft records and ensure proper access controls.
  • Update maintenance department metrics.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • High school diploma and a Certificate in Aviation Maintenance or Records Management; or high school diploma and one year of related experience in aircraft records management, maintenance tracking software, or a related aviation role.
  • Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance tracking software and other record keeping systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and Transport Canada legislation as it relates to aircraft records.
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Additional education or certification in aviation maintenance or records management.
  • Previous experience in aircraft records management, maintenance tracking software, or a related aviation role.
  • Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance tracking software and other record keeping systems.
