Warehouse Coordinator
Primary Purpose: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the picking, packing and delivery of product, the receiving and packing of inbound inventory, and providing inside sales and support to key Canadian customers in the assigned region.
Essential Job Functions:
General
- Assist with the routine inspection of facility for health and safety and report any hazards to his/her supervisor.
- Report any identified quality issues to his/her supervisor and the Quality Department, where appropriate.
- Provide back-up coverage for other members of the Manitoba team in accordance with guidelines established by the Company to ensure that customer inquiries and orders are fulfilled during PTO, business travel, other absences and emergencies.
- Ensure strict confidentiality with company information, as necessary.
Warehouse & Service
- Prepare orders for delivery, shipping or collection as instructed by his/her supervisor.
- Pack and deliver orders as instructed by his/her supervisor.
- Ensure that shipping documents are complete and included with the product before delivery/collection.
- Ensure that customer acknowledges and signs off for receipt of goods.
- Ensure that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and product is properly packaged prior to shipping.
- Coordinate with Sales team to provide freight quotes, track shipments, and expedite rush orders.
- Report to his/her supervisor any low stock and over stock items.
- Conduct inventory/cycle counts as directed by his/her supervisor.
- Check inbound inventory for accuracy and complete receipt into Epicor. Advise his/her supervisor when inventory does not match the packing slip.
- Pack properly received inventory into correct location and bays.
- Provide DOP and Fit Testing services to customers as assigned by his/her supervisor.
- Keep warehouse and front office areas clean and tidy, product properly located and identified, aisles clean and free of clutter.
Customer Service
- Coordinate with the Head Office to establish and setup new customer accounts, including data entry and processing of new customer credit applications.
- Process customer orders and payments, including walk-in customers.
- Maintain and improve customer service by developing customer relationships and staying in contact with customers to ensure the flow of communication.
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding shipping costs and delivery times where necessary.
- Become knowledgeable regarding key features and benefits of products and product groups to promote and sell products, and provide application support to customers.

Supervisory Responsibility: N/A
Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or GED. Must have a valid class 5 license or better. Clean driving Abstract required. Experience using diagnostic tools and maintaining technical equipment is considered an asset. Fork Lift Certification is considered an asset.

*Physical Demands and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required for long periods of time to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, climb, and lift, use hands to finger, handle controls; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. PPE includes: safety goggles, gloves, respirator, and CSA approved work boots hearing protection. The standard work week is 40 hours, with no variation in weekly hours. However, some overtime may be required, including a willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
