Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner 
Location: Amazon - 402 Dunsmuir Street
Wage: $19.38/hour
Shift: Full time -  3 month contract
 
Monday to Friday -  8am - 4pm

About the Role:
 
We’re looking for a cleaner with a passion for a clean space! This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.
 
What you’ll be doing:
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
  • Cleaning and scrubbing building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
  • Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
  • Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, glass/window cleaning, blinds, partitions, light switches & window sills
  • Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
  • Additional tasks assigned by Manager
You have:
  • Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
  • Have the driver license and a vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
