Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager (hybrid) at our Head Office in Surrey, BC.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $93,600 to $117,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you are passionate about finding and attracting top talent. In this role, you will manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and support recruitment for senior-level positions. If you have a proven track record in team leadership, developing a centre of excellence in strategic sourcing, and innovative talent acquisition, we want to hear from you.
You’ll also partner closely with the Senior Director, People & Performance on various TA initiatives including projects, driving continuous improvement in the TA function, data and reporting.

Why we’ll love you:
- You bring at least 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- You have a passion for leading and developing people, and have 2 or more years of leadership experience
- You have 2 or more years of dedicated experience in sourcing, pipeline building and talent scouting
- You’ve successfully developed and implemented a sourcing Centre of Excellence in complex, high-volume, or specialized environments
- You’re highly organized and excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- You have experience leading impactful, recruitment related projects and initiatives
- You can influence without authority, troubleshoot effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders across the business
- You are passionate about continuous improvement and innovation in talent acquisition
- You excel at pulling, analyzing, and presenting data in a clear and impactful manner
- Building relationships comes naturally to you
- Previous experience with an applicant tracking system is required (Dayforce preferred)
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Once here, you'll:
- Create and refine strategies to find top talent using advanced techniques and data analysis
- Develop robust talent pipelines for current and future needs, focusing on passive candidates and niche markets
- Mentor and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
- Partner with our 3rd party vendors (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed) to manage service expectations and stay current on new updates and product releases
- Work with HR and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with recruitment goals and provide market insights
- Collaborate with Marketing to boost the organization's visibility and represent Westland at events, ensuring all materials reflect our values
- Utilize and recommend recruitment technologies ensuring the team is well trained and efficient with these tools
- Lead recruitment operations by managing systems, supporting requisition planning, providing full-cycle recruitment support, and driving process improvements through best practices
