Bike Patroller (Summer)

Description:

To provide our guests and staff with a safe and memorable experience by being able to offer professional aid as required on the mountain.

Essential Functions:

• Provide front line interaction with our summer guests.
• Administer first aid on the mountain.
• Maintain accurate recording of all accident information as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Mark, sign, open, close, all bike trails as required to ensure that safe trail conditions are present.
• Build, maintain and repair trails as required.
• Provide first aid for on-mountain bike events.
• Increase mountain bike safety awareness by patrolling the bike park daily.
• Work closely with trail crew and communicate any unsafe trail conditions.
• Assist other departments as required.
• Perform lift evacuation as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum level 3 OFA
• Excellent risk management skills
• Previous experience (ski/bike patrol)
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Must be well spoken and able to interact with guests well.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Lift evacuation experience (we will train)
