Activities & Camps Supervisor (Summer)

Description:

In this role, you will serve as a Supervisor for camps, kids club and “activities” staff.  You will plan and oversee the deliverance of all resort activities, in-resort marketing initiatives, staff training and supervision. You will ensure all activities are organized and executed in a first-class manner. 

Essential Functions:

• Smile, be friendly and animated, love your job and show it!
• Ability to lead by example and be a leader to all camps and activities staff.
• Experience working with children, facilitating a variety of activities and programs for all ages
• Responsible for promotion, organization, and coordination of activities and special events and in daily operation of the Panorama Fun zone. 
• Responsible for camp activity programming, scheduling and training.
• Must possess an extensive knowledge of activities, events, resort amenities and surrounding area information.  
• Provide ongoing communication between shifts, with supervisors, staff, and activity partners.  Ensure all methods of communication are correct and updated regularly
• Assist with guest services administration, functions and events as required.
• Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance of equipment, supplies & amenities
• As a valued member of the Guest Services Department, you may be required for duties within the Department but outside of your regular role.

Experience/Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or Lead experience
• Cleared criminal records check
• Guest relations, working with all ages, cash experience, computer knowledgeable.
• Experience preferred and background with day camp/recreation programming.
• Recreation experience
• Programs require physical versatility
• Maintenance may require medium weight lifting
