HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues effectively. The technician will work on residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Duties

• Install and maintain HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Conduct refrigerant recovery and manage ammonia refrigeration systems as required.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations related to HVAC installations.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any HVAC-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with refrigerate systems, plumbing, welding, and general property maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics related to HVAC/R systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
