Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in HVAC systems, with a strong background in service and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Senior HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC equipment and systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Install new heating and cooling systems, including ductwork and other necessary components.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters to assess system performance and identify malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in equipment repair and appliance repair.
  • Familiarity with field service operations and property maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to weld and perform boil repairs as needed for system installations or modifications.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
