About the Role  
 

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating service requests and ensuring our clients receive top-quality service and support. As well as managing service schedules, dispatching technicians, and maintaining service records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service requests and schedule service appointments with clients;
  • Accurately input data such as work orders, invoices, and quotes into the system to maintain comprehensive records;
  • Collaborate with the service manager to coordinate repairs, inspections, non-destructive testing, and data entry processes;
  • Assist clients by processing purchase orders, booking services, and tracking missing rental items;
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers to manage warranty claims and recalls efficiently;
  • Create purchase orders and order parts as directed by the service manager and mechanics, working in partnership with the parts manager to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment;
  • Effectively manage service schedules by prioritizing service requests based on urgency and availability to ensure timely resolution of service issues;
  • Maintain a clean and organized service department and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What you Bring

The ideal candidate for the Service Coordinator role will have excellent communication skills to work with all levels of the organization, ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team, be a critical thinker with the ability to multi-task, collaborate and bring together new ideas. You have the ability to adapt on the fly and thrive in a fast paced deadline-driven environment, while understanding the importance of accuracy, credibility, and consistency.

Skills and Experience

  • Ideally one to two (1-2) years of demonstrated experience working with rental equipment and knowledge of the construction industry;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong computer skills, including using Microsoft Word and Excel and ERP’s;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing time and priorities;
  • Strong organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
