About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our DACH Business Unit as a Field Development Manager based remotely in Germany. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, the Field Development Manager will be tasked with delivering our new sales strategy with the ultimate goal of growing our restaurant count through profitable restaurant development. They will be tasked with attracting and securing new Franchisees across DACH region and through referrals and the ability to proactively generate new leads.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify, target, contact and follow up with qualified franchisee prospects.
- Identify new sites/ Real Estate opportunities within the designated Area
- Qualify prospects based on meetings, financial requirements assessment, knowledge of desired market, operational skills and plan. Convert prospects to Franchise owners.
- Support Franchise Owners during the Opening/Relocation/Transfer/Closures/Remodels projects, using internal and external resources available.
- Build relationship with Key Account Landlords, Corporate Partners and Existing Franchisees
- Attend trade shows and other professional events (Real estate, investors, ...). Identify best 3rd party partners.
- Work closely with Ops Field and other EMEA teams on Development projects
- Attend Strategic Development Meetings for site approvals (BU Project Committee and Real Estate Committee).
- Identify new potential markets for future growth.
- Analyze and define development territories (site evaluations, Market studies)
- Work closely with Real Estate/Expansion team, as well as internal partners to build the BU development plan.
- Projects Follow up & Administrative Support: Building and Following up the Development Pipeline. Forecast and Planning Management.
- Centralize Franchisees/Leads applications and requests; Franchise sales procedures; Attending relevant meetings and managing Group's requests
- Travel is required within the assigned country and periodic global travel to attend Leadership Conferences, Regional, Country and Global Conventions, staff meetings, and Regional & Franchisee meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of job-specific experience, required in Expansion or Real Estate.
- Language: Fluent in English & German - any additional language is a plus
- Ability to identify/secure Real Estate locations as well as build relationships with key stakeholders and companies throughout the territory.
- Creative with strong negotiating (sales) skills. Sound commercial awareness.
- Excellent project management skills. Goal focused.
- Strong communication & presentation skills - Adaptable and open working style with ability to establish trust and credibility quickly.
- Organized, a self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
- Travel Requirements: 70-80% of the time.
