Job Purpose:
The Social Media Content Producer is responsible for delivering a wide range of unignorable multimedia content that drives our audiences to engage with World Vision Canada.
Reporting to the Product Owner, Social Media, this role is skilled in all facets of video production, from developing concepts and storyboarding to post-production. This role provides guidance and leadership from developing concepts with stakeholders and collaborators to determining the most efficient and cost-effective way to complete projects.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to fostering a creative environment that supports the organization’s mission and embraces its core values while encouraging team development through inclusion, open communication, and collaboration.
- Provides social media and WVC brand guidance to internal team members to ensure the execution of best-in-class content development.
- Collaborate on content ideation, planning, production, distribution, and analysis.
- Provide recommendations on content management, repurposing, and distribution opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally to plan, align and deliver content with all departments (Ministries).
- Meet with stakeholders or collaborators to understand the goals and content concepts for each project.
- Keeps up to date on cultural, social, and design trends and regularly presents innovative design solutions
to promote continuous design improvement.
Multimedia and Video production –
- Produce engaging videos from concept to post-production using existing content for multiple platforms to meet defined goals.
- Ensure timelines and production schedules are met, track projects and support revisions or enhancements as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of professional creative services (e.g., graphic design, video editing and production) experience with a portfolio of quality multimedia digital content.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling multimedia packages (i.e., a combination of photo, video, and graphic skills); proficiency with multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud products is a must - Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator).
- Experience developing, designing, curating, and managing multimedia content.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize vision and brand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Committed team player with proven collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
