Position: Strategy Analyst
Reports to: VP Strategy and Innovation

We're looking for a strategic, innovative, and detail-oriented Strategy Analyst to support our VP of Strategy and Innovation in driving organizational growth and performance and ensuring effective strategy development and execution.
Job Purpose:
The Strategy Analyst supports the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation in driving organizational growth, enhancing performance, and ensuring the effective development and execution of strategies.
This role is critical for empowering teams with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) expertise, contributing to long-term strategy planning (e.g. Operation Plans), and advancing high-impact projects that support operational excellence and organizational transformation.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Enablement and Support
- Design and deliver digital solutions and maintain existing products.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to set, track, and visualize Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Accelerate OKR adoption and performance through targeted training, coaching, and support to enhance team proficiency.
Strategic Research and Analysis
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic initiatives, emerging trends, and potential partnerships.
- Collaborate with teams to contribute to World Vision Canada's long-term strategy and annual operating plans, ensuring inclusivity, achievability, and alignment with the mission.
- Support the establishment and promotion of metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Innovation
- Assist the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation in preparing for meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements.
- Develop compelling narratives, presentations, and reports to communicate strategic insights and recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive rapid progress on high-impact projects, explore innovative solutions, and navigate challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent in business, management, or related field) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience will be considered.
- 3 + years in strategy, consulting, innovation, or a related field.
- Substantial experience in deploying, creating, and using the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology.
- Agile experience is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business fundamentals, performance management, and change management principles.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong grasp of financial concepts with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making processes.
- Analytics and Data: Familiarity with basic analytics and data concepts (e.g., cohort analysis is a bonus), with no requirement for advanced data science expertise.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and develop actionable recommendations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic environments and navigates obstacles with innovative solutions.
