Woodcock Transportation Group is a family-owned and operated for-hire trucking carrier located 10 minutes west of Stratford in Sebringville, ON. With over 40 years of experience serving clients across Canada and the United States, WTG has established itself as a reliable and trusted partner in the transportation industry. We seek a Human Resources Coordinator to oversee the organization's human resources function. This position works under the direction of our CEO and with our Safety & Compliance Coordinator.

Job Summary
Human Resources
- Full recruitment, selection, and onboarding, including conducting orientation, offboarding of Team Members' primary Professional Drivers and Owner-Operators
- Provide guidance and support to Managers, Team Members, and Owner-Operators on HR-related issues, including performance management, Team Member relations, conflict resolution
- Work in collaboration with the leadership team to create a corporate culture that embodies organizational values
- Works in tandem with safety & compliance, dispatch, and service to ensure our professional driving team exceeds the expectations of our clients, drives defensively and positively represents WTG’s brand
- Craft and implement policies, procedures and programs that enhance Team Member and candidate experience and meet WTG strategic priorities
- Administer group benefits and pension programs
- Ensure compliance with legislation in Ontario, Canada, the US Department of Transportation, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
- Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy of Team Member data
Qualifications
- Post Secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or another related field of study
- Certified Human Resources Professional or working towards it
- 3 years experience working as a human resources generalist with an emphasis on recruitment and selection
- Understanding of the Canada Labour Code, Canadian Human Rights Code, Accessibility Canada Act, and Pay Equity Act
- Knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry as an asset
