As Operations Consultant, you will work directly with the Senior Vice President, Operations and will be responsible for the facilitation and management of the digital growth initiatives within the MGA space, current and future.  The role be a key part in the development and implementation of new workflows, underwriting tools and efficiency projects across the organization.  There will also be key

responsibility centered around reporting and managing the internal audit process.

The Opportunity:

 

In this role you will:  

  • Work as a business lead during the requirements gathering, testing and implementation of any new digital solutions being implemented within the MGA business
  • Work with Underwriting and Operations teams to optimize workflows and implement best practices to ensure we reduce errors and operational inefficiencies
  • Optimize our data storage and collection solutions within the MGA Business
  • Management of current Agile underwriting systems and processes
  • Key contact for Audits to coordinate the process and address all recommendations
  • Create reporting for wider business usage based on business needs
  • Maintain underwriting tools including Appetite & Capacity guide, Earthquake Aggregator and any additional tools developed

 

 

Here’s what you bring:  

  •  University degree or equivalent 
  •  CIP/FCI designation
  •  10 yrs Underwriting experience within the insurance industry
  •  Experience working in a digital space & within IT projects
  •  Experience working with multiple regions/offices 
  •  Strong communications skills and 
  •  Presentation skills
