Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager, Benefits at our Surrey, BC Head Office. This exciting opportunity offers a hybrid work model (2 days per week in-office) for candidates based in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland. Those located elsewhere in Canada will work remote, with occasional travel to branches and offices as needed.

 

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $76,000 to $88,000 based on a 35 hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

You have strong B2B marketing expertise and are a team player who knows how to influence, partner and get things done. You are known for exceptional delivery and getting results by being hands-on, as well as stepping back to build plans that generate pipeline growth and revenue. Why we’ll love You:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field with 5+ years in a B2B marketing role
  • Highly collaborative, able to partner with sales leaders to drive aligned sales and marketing initiatives
  • Strategically minded, as well as a master of execution
  • Strong attention to detail and keen focus on quality
  • Experience in digital channels, including paid, SEO, email and CRO
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, both externally when creating conversion-focused copy across email, web, paid and print; and internally when developing business cases and presentations

Once here, you'll:

  • Assess and refine the current marketing strategy, including planning and executing high-impact sponsorships and local advertising initiatives, while attending events and activations as needed.
  • Manage the marketing budget for these regions, tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with budget allowances.
  • Build strong relationships with Westland Benefits' sales leaders to align marketing efforts and drive regional success.
  • Lead rebranding activities for employee benefits mergers and acquisitions, maintaining brand integrity and consistent messaging across external channels such as in-branch displays, local ads, websites, and social media.
  • Collaborate with Westland’s digital team on demand generation initiatives and work with Brand Managers on both regional and national campaigns, including co-operative marketing with insurance carriers.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs, continuously identifying opportunities to enhance performance, and support cross-functional projects with the marketing, CX, and digital teams.
